"Professor Makes the Case That Google Is a Publisher"

"There are good reasons for Google to want to be considered a mere connector; like other Internet companies, it can beg off responsibility for what is transmitted by its users. That is the useful stance when it comes to rebutting claims of copyright infringement or libel.

But when the issue is anticompetitive behavior — a charge made by rivals and some businesses — Google has lately been emphasizing that it sees itself as a publisher, and it is appealing for different kinds of protections, in the realm of free speech.

How Google has decided to say this is almost as interesting as what is being said. The company hired Eugene Volokh, an influential conservative blogger and a professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, to write a paper last month. In it, he argues that Google search results are protected speech.

Mr. Volokh freely acknowledges that the paper, posted on his blog and shared widely on the Internet, is not academic scholarship but a piece of advocacy, written in his capacity as an academic affiliate at a Los Angeles law firm, Mayer Brown. It is something that would typically be prepared if Google were facing a trial on these issues.

There is no such court case at the moment that Mr. Volokh is pointing toward with his paper, but Google has become a target over how it runs its search engine. Competitors and some companies say Google’s search algorithms favor services owned by Google, a charge Google denies, but one that has drawn the attention of regulators in Europe and the United States."

What happened with Pastor Charles O'Neal and with Beaverton Grace Bible Church That is what happens when people leave many churches. They are defamed, harassed, and shunned by former friends and family. This happens for years, and if someone speaks out, then the church seems to think they will eventually tire and go away, the thing is this is real people with real lives and the Truth and their experience should matter and should not be silenced. “Recording governmental officers engaged in public duties,” the letter reasons, “is a form of speech through which private individuals may gather and disseminate information of public concern, including the conduct of law enforcement officers.”

The letter, addressed to the Baltimore Police Department based on the Department’s past interference with such recording, is consistent with the Seventh Circuit’s May 8 decision in ACLU v. Alvarez (which it doesn’t cite) and the First Circuit’s decision in Glik v. Cunliffe (which it does cite, together with some other cases)."

The University of Montana promotes stalkers, ignores those who cry out for help. For years The University of Montana has known of my case and they do nothing to investigate. The University of Montana President is now on a Homeland Security Committee and still nothing is done to protect the Rights of Montanans or even those affected by University of Montana Employees.

Steve Bullock, Montana Attorney General who is now running for "Steve Bullock for Montana Governor" is on the board of the University of Montana, Steve Bullock for Montana Governor will mean that more Montana County Attorneys are paid to protect rapists. County after County, dozens, hundreds of rapes year after year and Steve Bullock, Montana Attorney General does NOTHING.

For years I worked with the University of Montana police to expose issues, I was ignored in order to protect corrupt cops, attorneys, judges and even the Montana Attorney General.

In Montana, by Law, you are not a Victim unless the Montana Courts say there was a crime. And Montana is strictly pay to play in the justice system. So getting a Judge to say it was a crime and thereby qualify you as a "Victim", well that is nearly impossible.

Counties such as Ravalli County and Lincoln County, in conjunction with Missoula County and other Counties in Montana, protect rapists over and over again.

I wrote of over 40 rapes a few years back in ONE Montana County. The local cops had told me of cases, I met with victims, there was DNA, rape kits and more and Bernie Cassidy Lincoln County Attorney ignored it. Cops at the time offered to get female officers from other counties to find out who the rapists were, and get them prosecuted. Bernie Cassidy, county attorney denied the cop this way to find the CRIMINALS and serve Justice.

In Montana, Rape is just a way of life and the Montana Attorney General was well aware of what happened in our county and it moved to Hamilton Montana, and to Missoula and the Date Rape Drug is still rampant and Rape is NOT taken serious.

Good Cops cannot do their job in the State of Montana as the Wall of Corruption is to high, they try, they call me with their stories and end up leaving the state.

When I was Exposing massive rapes in Lincoln County in 2009, I received a death threat in which the county attorney protected the sender, as did Judge Robin Clute several counties over. I also received harassing threatening emails, comments, hate groups and more, ALL originating from the University of Montana IP address. I cried out for help for Years.

Judge Stormy Langston in Lincoln County Ignored my Rights, Judge Haynes in Hamilton Montana Denied my Rights, Detective Jamie Merifield in Missoula Ignored my Rights, the University of Montana Police and the University of Montana President ignored my rights, the Montana FBI Ignored my Rights. Judge Robin Clute in Hamilton Montana, protected by the, then County Attorney George Corn, and more protected Rapists over an Investigative Bloggers rights, who was simply telling the story of the victims involved.

At that time, It seemed that the Rapists were running drugs for the Libby Montana Cops, and were protected by the County Attorney Bernie Cassidy. Cops told me of a Truck with blood and fingernails in the dash, they say County Attorney Bernie Cassidy hid the Truck to protect the Rapist. Bernie Cassidy protected Richard Brown in Eureka Montana, as he took pictures of underage women from his main street place of business. Bernie Cassidy, refused to let the cop investigating go to his home and search his computers, his belongings. This same county attorney keeps a death threat sent to me, and proof of who sent it, locked tightly away.

Cops told me of several rapes with rape kits done, and that they hired more staff at the Hospital to handle rape kits, yet the County Attorney, Bernie Cassidy refused to prosecute. Sheriff Anderson's son in law was a cop, years ago, he made a young woman have sex with him to get out of a traffic ticket, the Dad told me the story crying. He complained to the Attorney General, Sheriff Anderson's son in law is said to work at the state prison now, he was never prosecuted.

Many "dads" contacted me about their daughters who performed sexual favors on cops to get out of tickets. When good cops stand up they are silenced by the Code of Blue, they have to protect each other or they are threatened, set up, run out of town or worse. And woman cops in Montana, it is even worse.

I got stories from several mothers of their son's dying in jail, what is known as the famous Montana Suicide which is really death by cop. The year I was writing so much on Montana Corruption, there was 4 suicides in the Yaak Montana, bullet to the back of the head and no gun I was told. I was told of huge amounts of money that drug runners had and cops or border guards shot the drug dealer and the "media" never spoke of the money. The Stories never end, and the Truth is CRIMINAL.

That same year I was exposing the Cops, County Attorney and Rapes, I was put on a homeland security watch list, all because I spoke out against RAPE.

Montana loves Rapists and County Attorneys like George Corn of Hamiliton Montana, now an Attorney in Missoula Montana at Datsopoulos MacDonald & Lind, PROTECT the Criminals and PUNISH folks like me, who stand up for the rights of the Victims.

Folks like Montana Attorney George Corn and Bernie Cassidy Lincoln County Attorney, keep the legacy of Rape in Montana alive and well, and certainly LEGAL.

Over the last 3 years I have gotten lots of stories from many Montana Counties, RAPE is Rape, and boys will be boys as they say. Nothing can be done about the corruption and horror in the Judicial System in Montana.

This investigation will be like all the rest and they will do what the Public Outcry pushes them too and no more. See Montana Corruption involves the BIGGEST of the Big, per say, and there really is no way to clean up corruption in the State of Montana. No One is Listening.

And me, a 4th generation Montanan, owned a Real Estate Company for a Decade, got a degree in Forestry and had my own Forestry Business, worked hard in my community, owned several businesses and employed locals, was never in "trouble", and then I spoke out about RAPE in Montana, I Defended those in my Home Town of Eureka Montana that I had know my whole life and the Cops, County Attorney, Detectives, Commissioners, and Judges protect Rapists, protected the Criminals. And I, the Voice of the Victims, was set up, threatened, harassed and still to this day I am harassed by a University of Montana Employee and I have been given no rights in 4 years, no protection and am constantly harassed and all I did, was fight for Rape Victims that were up against the Culture of Corruption in the State of Montana. And there are 100's and 100's of them.

Telling the Truth, Speaking for Victims, Forever Changed my Life, my Business and Everything I ever wanted my life to be. At that time I thought that the Laws mattered, that the cops and detectives would listen, that the newspaper would not lie about Rape. Thing is I was very wrong, the Newspaper, Commissioners, Cops and more, IGNORED the stories of what was REALLY happening to these women. The local rape advocate seemed to give up trying to get the cops to prosecute and did what she could to help the continual flow of victims. She even told victims to call me, as I seemed to be the only hope of justice, and all I could do was get them heard. Bernie Cassidy, Lincoln County Attorney Montana, to this day is harassing women, threatening to put them in Mental Institutes simply because he is protecting the Lincoln County Elite, such as Interbel Big Shot Randy Wilson. And the truth about Lyme Disease in Montana and Prompt Care in Eureka and North Valley Hospital in covering up the fact that Ticks in Montana is a VERY big deal.

I gave voice to woman who have been raped over decades, and over 40 Rapes that one summer in Lincoln County. I even gave voice to a man falsely accused of rape. See if RAPE was taken serious and prosecuted in Montana, this would also protect those falsely accused.

The Local, State and Federal Authorities attacked me, the Messenger, and all I was doing was speaking out for the victims involved in the crimes. Law Enforcement protected the Criminals, and Media helped them to make the Victims look like the Criminals to the Public, who to this day believe Law Enforcement and Local News over the Victims.

"Montana Rape Claims Under Federal Inquiry"

The U.S. Justice Department is investigating whether sexual-assault allegations against students at the University of Montana, including at least six football players, were properly handled.

Assistant Attorney General Thomas Perez said Tuesday that federal officials would examine whether the university, as well as the Missoula, Mont., police department and county attorney, failed over the past three years to adequately investigate and prosecute numerous alleged rapes.

"The voices of women who have been sexually assaulted must be heard," Mr. Perez said in a call with reporters. He said there have been at least 11 reported cases of sexual assault involving Montana students within the past 18 months, but added that the investigation would examine alleged rapes of all women in Missoula, not just university students.

Mr. Perez said the Justice Department isn't seeking monetary penalties against the university or any criminal action against the accused assailants. "Our focus is on the systemic issue: Do the university and law-enforcement agencies have the necessary...policies in place to protect the women?" he said.

The investigation is the latest twist in a controversy that has dominated the news in Missoula, a town of 70,000 in the Rocky Mountains, and has taken a toll on the university's football team.

In March, University of Montana President Royce Engstrom dismissed head football coach Robin Pflugrad and athletic director Jim O'Day. The Grizzlies had just won the Big Sky Conference title and Mr. Pflugrad had been named the conference's coach of the year.

Mr. Pflugrad's lawyer said at the time he believed the media firestorm over the alleged sexual assaults led to the firing. Mr. O'Day's lawyer couldn't be reached for a response.

Mr. Engstrom, who didn't return a request Tuesday for comment on the investigation, gave no reason for his decision to dismiss the two men.

The Missoula police chief and county attorney didn't return requests for comment on Tuesday."

NWC Issues Statement on Passage of Senate Whistleblower Bill

Washington, D.C. May 9, 2012. Yesterday, the Senate passed the Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act of 2011 (WPEA), S. 743, by unanimous consent.

NWC Executive Director, Stephen M. Kohn issued the following statement about S. 743:

All federal employees badly need strong whistleblower protections consistent with the protections enjoyed by private sector workers. The Senate version of the WPEA contains some improvements, but falls far short of the comprehensive whistleblower law reforms promised in the 2008 political campaign.

Federal employees need to be fully protected and encouraged to report waste, fraud and abuse. While the Senate version of the WPEA is a step in the right direction, federal employees will still lack important protections when they report fraud against the taxpayers if the Senate version of the bill becomes law.

We are deeply concerned that the WPEA bill will be watered down further once the House takes up the measure.

We urge the House to enact a WPEA bill that is consistent with the stronger version of the law the House passed in 2007 with overwhelming bi-partisan support.

The National Whistleblowers Center (NWC) assists some of America's leading whistleblowers including FBI whistleblower Dr. Frederic Whitehurst, Army Corps of Engineer whistleblower Bunnatine "Bunny" Greenhouse and six employees at the Food and Drug Administration reporting illegal surveillance of federal employee whistleblowers. Officers of the NWC have testified at Senate and House hearings on the WPEA."

The Truth is Kevin Padrick ruined lives, persecuted innocent people, and made their lives hell in every way including criminal charges falsified, collusion with the Bend D.A., and more to distract from where he was really displacing the victims money. Tonkon Torp, Sussman Shank, Perkins Coie, Obsidian Finance Group.. they made MASSIVE money. I lost money and years of my life, I never offered to clean up damage I created. That was a settlement offer in hope to make a lawsuit not happen. The Truth of the Summit Bankruptcy remains to be the TRUTH, and Kevin Padrick DID violate bankruptcy code, did have a breach of contract with the Summit Principals, and did turn a debtor in possession to a liquidation and tie up the assets and thereby the lives of over 106 creditors, investors, victims and with no accountability. As he had set his own clients, Summit up for indictment to create a massive smoke screen so no one saw what he was doing to create more debt and make more millions.

Then Kevin Padrick, in the all powerful Trustee Position, he sued anyone who would not say what he wanted, such as Lynn Hoffman I hear, and he sued insurance companies and even accused Umpqua of a crime they did not commit and used his power in the Oregon Courts and the Perkins Coie, Tonkon Torp, Miller Nash connections to make Umpqua bank cave and pay millions when there was NO Ponzi.

"Obsidian Finance Group LLC plans to break ground in March on what will become Oregon’s largest solar energy development.

A financial advisory and investment firm, Tigard-based Obsidian in 2008 formed a subsidiary, Obsidian Renewables, to promote the development of renewable energy.

Its proposed 5-megawatt, $30 million project, dubbed Outback Solar, will spread 22,000 solar panels across 60 acres near the South Central Oregon town of Christmas Valley in Lake County.

It would easily surpass the capacity of any other Oregon solar project. Barring drastic reforms to the state’s Business Energy Tax Credit program, Obsidian has plans for two more similarly sized projects in Lake County this year.

Combined, the three projects, stretched across 200 acres, would generate 15 megawatts of capacity — enough to power about 3,900 homes — and represents an investment that could reach $90 million. And it could just be the start. Obsidian owns more than 800 acres around Lake County.

David Brown, the senior principal at Obsidian, said the company remains first and foremost a financial services firm, not a developer of energy projects. Instead, it hopes to help foster development of its land by third-party developers, preferably through a public-private partnership. “It’s our plan to be a sponsor of solar development,” he said. The developments are in concert with a push by industry advocates to put solar technology on par with other utility-scale renewables."

Progressive Insurance, in my Opinion, Should Sue Obsidian Finance Group, and their Bond Holder in the Summit Bankruptcy. As there never was a Ponzi, Kevin Padrick worked for the Debtor before they filed bankruptcy, there were many conflicts of interest undisclosed to creditors, and it seems that Kevin Padrick created way more debt for the Estate then Summit went bankruptcy for and made him and his friends massive amounts of money suing companies such as Umpqua Bank. And for some reason Umpqua Bank settled, as in articles where Michael Simon, now a Judge and a friend of Judge Marco Hernandez, then a Perkins Coie attorney for some of the Creditors. The Bitterroot Valley, where the Rocky Mountain Laboratory is located contains blue ribbon trout rivercourse Bitterroot River containing protected Species Bull Trout.
Lewis & Clark traversed valley upon direction of US President to find a land route to the Pacific Ocean.
Soils in the Bitterroot Valley are some of the richest in the state; water, timber resources abound surrounding the NIH facility in Hamilton, MT.
The Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness is the second largest in the US at 1.6M acres, which sits at the western boundary of the RML site in Hamilton, MT.
Wildlife crossings in ,Bitterroot are essential to habitat such as Bear, Moose, Elk, Deer, bird habitat of waterfowl, migrating birds, owls, hawks, bald eagles.
RML site in floodplain for flood insurance: any part of property below the 100 year floodplain makes entire property floodplain, 1968 National Floodplain Insurance Act.
Neighborhood surrounding RML south of Hamilton, MT contains historic homes over 40 years which require historical review for any federal project by NIH.

RML has no federal or professional fire personnel in any proximity to facility.
RML 20 year plan had no onsite emergency response facility although no adequate biological, materials, or radiological safety team is within 45 miles.
First Presidentially declared fire emergency was in proximity to RML, Ravalli County, and Montana in year 2000. Fire hazard is extremely high near RML.
RML is 45 miles from Missoula, MT with 60,000 residents and five firehouses. Materials safety team is currently dispatched from Missoula Fire Department.

RML without professional material safety, biological, or radiological staging area available on site, or within 45 miles of the Hamilton, MT facility.
NIH Office Research Safety issued Plaintiff false assurances of safety since 2007.
Plaintiff has adequately participated in administrative process by expressing concerns to RML, NIH in fire safety, environmental quality, NEPA director, Director of Research Safety, NIH legal counsel, and NIH Directors office.
Plaintiff has offered mediation to resolve this dispute to NIH.

Security of RML north boundary is substandard as non-fortified chain-link fencing.
Purchase of residential property for RML is not proper for federal industrial projects.
Industrial process as RML requires roof cooling fans, which impact bird habitat, and riparian, river area to west and surrounding RML and was not addressed in FEIS.

"Samantha Swindler (COM’02) was honored with the 2010 Tom and Pat Gish Award for courage, integrity, and tenacity in rural journalism from the University of Kentucky’s Institute for Rural Journalism and Community Issues.

They knew they’d rattled the sheriff after the theft, the so-called theft, of evidence from his office.

The Times-Tribune, in Corbin, Ky., suspected Whitley County Sheriff Lawrence Hodge of running drugs and guns—all seized in arrests—from the back of his barbershop. (The Kentucky county is small, so the sheriff keeps a day job.) As part of its investigation, the paper filed a records request asking the sheriff to verify that the items were secure in an evidence locker—and not hawked out to the highest bidder between flattops and buzz cuts. But the hot items were hot again. Stolen, apparently, just one business day after Hodge should have responded to the inquiry.

The Times-Tribune front page headline that followed was quietly suggestive: “Sheriff’s office broken into after open records request.” Hodge, it seemed, had something to hide.

Editor Samantha Swindler (COM’02) penned that headline—eight words that shot the sheriff. For someone who says she doesn’t even like to write, someone who never dreamed of writing an award-winning investigative series, what the paper exposed is quite an achievement.

Swindler did not come to the College of Communication to be a crusading journalist—“I didn’t want to be poor”—but a high-earning PR guru. After graduation, she wound up back home in Texas, living with her parents and working at a Harley-Davidson store. Then, she says, “a newspaper reporter position opened up, and it was less of a commute, and I thought, I could do that.”

After finding journalism “way more interesting” than PR and rising through the ranks at Texas’ Jacksonville Daily Progress, Swindler took a chance and accepted the editor’s job on the 6,800-circulation Times-Tribune in 2006. “I’d never been to Kentucky before,” she says. “I did not have expectations of specifically rooting out evil; I just wanted to run a newspaper in a small community, be a part of a community, and try to make a positive difference.”

But Whitley County had a little evil that needed rooting out. In late 2008, Swindler’s sportswriter made a throwaway comment: the sheriff’s barbershop doubled as a gun store. Intrigued, and spurred by reported audit irregularities at the sheriff’s office, Swindler put in a raft of open-records requests to verify Hodge’s inventories. Despite the Times-Tribune’s regularly packed police blotter, the evidence logs came back bare—entire months went by without any drugs or guns making it into the county’s evidence locker."

In my opinion, Sean Boushie is dangerous. I believe the courts should protect Crystal Cox from Sean Boushie by giving her a restraining order, and I believe I should have one as well. I will seek one here and one in Montana as well."

Keep in Mind Folks, the Recall out of Lincoln County Montana in the Summer of 2009 was because of a huge amount of unprosecuted rapes. This Sheriff Recall was initiated by Diane Kaechele, a brave smart woman, not from Montana who said Rape is Wrong, and set out to do something about it. Many strong Montana Residents such as Rex Nichols, Paul Stramer, Ginny Emerson and more stood up with Diane Kaechele for these victims. Below is the Letter to the Editor from Sean Boushie, in the Daily Interlake, Kalispell Montana, Sunday 7-19-2009. This was the begining of his 3 year hate campaign, while at work at the University of Montana. I rebutted this letter on my blog about the recall, as the concealed carry topic was not factual and the Recall was mainly about the Rapes in Lincoln County, it was about un-prosecuted Rapes. To ask people not to sign this massively important recall that involved over 40 rape victims, was simply, in my opinion wrong.

This rebuttal set off 3 years of Hate, and the Lincoln County Sheriff, Lincoln and Ravalli County Attorney, Judges in Libby Montana and Hamilton Montana, the Montana Attorney General, Montana Highway Patrols, many Montana Commissioners, Missoula Montana Police and the University of Montana all supported a massive 3 year, every day attack on me, Blogger Crystal Cox who was writing on the rapes. Judge Robin Clute in Hamilton Montana gave Sean Boushie a Protective Order Against me, that was NOT Mutual and Sean Boushie attacked, stalked and threatened me that whole year and still to this day. Judge Haynes in Hamilton Montana denied me a protective order. This was after I received a Death Threat on August 6th 2009, in which Bernie Cassidy, Lincoln County Attorney still refuses to investigate.

"Don't Let Oregon Courts Silence the Press

Salem-News.com goes to court for reporting a story about an elderly woman's fight to regain finances taken by her son.

(CLACKAMAS, Ore.) - An Oregon mother who allegedly lost more than a million dollars in property and assets to her son in California, says it's hard for a lone elderly woman to find justice in Oregon's legal system.

Now Salem-News.com is being called to task for publishing the story. The venue is the Clackamas County Courthouse and we will be there at 9:00 a.m. Monday morning.

Since the story was first published, Leroy Newton, who is in the investment industry in California, the only son of Erna Boldt in Sandy, Oregon, has been trying to make us purge the story, his story, with the help of a Portland attorney named 'Brooks F. Cooper'.

We are protected by the first U.S. Constitution amendment.

We believe that this legal threat is a frivolousa attempt to silence the free press for carrying a story that is embarrassing, for an individual sliding through legal loopholes with the help of a seasoned attorney. If the woman's allegations are true, then the legal system is failing to protect one of our most vulnerable citizens, and little else.

It seems preposterous that an individual could seize the assets in question from his elderly mother, and suspect that it would not draw media attention.

We find it equally puzzling that Leroy Newton and his lawyer decided to threaten and sue the media into silence without considering that this clear violation of our Civil Rights would likely become the grounds for a strong counter suit.

The article and video report on Erna Boldt in question are fairly presented and only portray the story according to Ms. Boldt and a wealth of accumulated documents. (see: Elderly Oregon Woman In Financial Ruins; via America's Worst Son? - Bonnie King Salem-News.com)

It will be interesting to see how this censorship attempt of Salem-News.com will really go. This is an important time for all in media, because a court interpretation of the 'truth' obtained through a court order that itself is in question, should never be allowed to silence us, particularly when the information is fully attributed to a named source.

One thing I am wondering about is whether attorney Cooper expected this case to end up in front of a jury, which it probably will. I suspect not, and that Mr. Cooper really should be more selective of his clients.

Interestingly, jurors aren't part of the 'system', and not exactly who a ruthless litigator can typically count on. In other words, the truth can win the day with the public and there is little these two men can do about it, and I really am excited about the prospect of being able to defend Ms. Boldt and our American Civil Right to free speech. That is what Mr. Cooper is trying to place his foot on top of, and I can only assume he has no idea what he is dealing with.

So far, Salem-News.com has had contact with two advocacy groups that we have dealt with for years; the Committee to Protect Journalists and Reporters sans frontières (Reporters Without Borders) about this. The woman, Erna Boldt, is also being sued by her son for $55,000 more dollars to compensate him for what he's gone through.

Here's the story in a nutshell: Erna Boldt was born before the second world war, one more human being in a bad place, and her original home is Germany.

"Mom and Dad were bombed out in Hamburg," Erna said. "They fled to East Prussia where my Grandma and some aunts lived, they fled from there by foot, when the Russians advanced. Grandma and my aunts remained and were tyranized by the Russians."

By the very end of the war, when Erna was just 17-years of age, she found one alternative, and that was to follow her best friend's lead and join the German military. She enlisted in the Navy and served about three weeks, which was about enough time to have her photo taken and watch her fleet surrender to the allies.

British soldiers allowed Erna to move on with her life, and within a couple of years she met one of the many American soldiers sent to occupy the newly divided Germany. "My son was born in Germany, before I came to the States. He was 3 years old, when we landed in New York in 1952," Erna said.

It couldn't have been easy.

Today Erna still has her German accent and she is just as quick and funny and smart as any day of her life, but that didn't keep her son from convincing Oregon courts that she was incapable of looking after her own affairs. Court directives were not followed, and Erna lost everything.

"If only I had known!" Erna recalls with regret.

She didn't know of course, because Erna is not mentally diminished at all, as one can gather from watching the video below. Some of the supposed court orders against Erna have been carried out under shady circumstances and we have people looking into several parts of this which will be covered in future reports.

Erna's son is the character in this story who went to a lot of effort to take control of his mother's assets (before she died) that total over a million dollars.

Leroy Newton is the man Brooks F. Cooper chooses to represent the interests of. Erna worked hard and sent her son to Linfield College in Oregon, which is a private school. There he learned how to work with money, and apparently much more.

Erna explains that Leroy came to visit a few years ago from California, and when he did, he brought a friend. Erna didn't suspect anything, even when Leroy suggested he and Erna go to lunch because his "friend was tired and wanted to lay down". He and Erna went for lunch, while his 'friend', Erna says she later discovered, promptly began going through her personal files to find the information they would use in court to deem her incompetent.

Erna believes she earned the disdain of the Clackamas County court officials because, quite frankly, she can be pretty feisty, and who would not be?

There are no terrible stories of Leroy's childhood according to any of the parties we have contacted, or received contact from, and he had not been estranged from Erna until he took court actions against her.

Court documents show that Erna has seen a failure in cooperation from the Clackamas County court. Erna can produce documents demonstrating that they lost papers, failed to fulfill promises, and apparently just failed to fulfill their obligations to her as public tax paid servants.

I call foul on the whole thing, including these very questionable judge's decisions that allowed Leroy to clean up and Erna to lose in one of the most unforgivable ways ever imagined. Just because something can be done legally does not mean that it should be done.

Wrong is still wrong.

In the past, due to Cooper's legal wrangling, we had pulled the video, and we had actually done other things to try to comply with their wishes and demands, like remove the picture of him in a red Ferrari taken shortly after he got his mother's money. (We're assured by his daughter it was a rental car!) The final request was for Salem-News.com to pull the story from Google, which we are not capable of.

Now Erna is meeting Cooper in court again, a continuance of this seemingly endless and sad story. Our position is to get this chronicle of elder financial abuse out like never before. We do not want this type of thing to ever happen to our precious elder citizens.

With time, courts will be held at a higher standard and will be expected to take special care of the rights of the elderly. As it is, the judicial system claims that there are not enough attorneys or time to respond to every single claim. They have to take on the cases that they believe they can win. How pitiful that more "family" take advantage of their elders than any other group, those that are trusted the most, and without any consequences whatsoever. This must end.

Erna is impossible to dislike, unless you are working for a court that is playing games with attorneys, then apparently she can be much more difficult to work with. Why should she react any differently than any us would under the same circumstances?

On that note, are there any attorneys who feel as we do that this attack on us and our citizenry's freedom of speech is worthy of a large scale counter suit?

So those of you Googling University of Montana FBI Investigation, know that the University of Montana President, Police and Missoula Police have known for years of the Rape Issues, and Stalking Issues as have many other authorities in Montana, including the ACLU, the Governor, the Attorney General and More. University of Montana FBI Investigation, is kind of a joke. As the FBI told me over an over they did not take any of it as a threat nor is it criminal to be on paid time at the University of Montana and start Hate Groups, email hate, cyberstalk, harass a Pro Se Defendent in a Federal Trial, and apparently it is all ok with the University of Montana President Royce Engstrom as he and the U of M Police have known for years, so has the Missoula Police, they DO Not Investigate Hate Crimes period. And this turns into Rape, Lives Ruined, Business Lost, Years of Stress and as the Kalispell Case, even Murder.

The Article Says, " In December, the University of Montana initiated its own investigation after allegations of a female student.. "

Montana Investigative Blogger Crystal Cox says that the University of Montana does NOTHING to investigate Hate Crimes, and in fact pays people to harass, threaten and intimidate. All on the University of Montana Dime. I have been reporting Montana Rapes, Hate, Stalking Threats for years and have been Ignored.

"The mayor of a Montana college town Wednesday welcomed a federal investigation into allegations that sexual assault and rape complaints were improperly handled.

But John Engen, mayor since 2006, was also surprised when he was notified of the probe.

"This is uncharted territory for us," he told CNN.

The U.S. Justice Department announced Tuesday it was launching a probe into allegations that up to 80 complaints of sexual assault over three years were not investigated thoroughly because of gender bias. Of those, 11 cases involved students at the University of Montana -- at least two involving football players."

Mayer John Engen was surprised??? Why? The Rape Issue in Montana is Rampant, some Daddy Somewhere was bound to be connected high enough to get this thing taken care of. The University of Montana does not Care about investigating allegations, nor does the Missoula Police. This is easily proven in an honest, unbiased investigation.
